Welcome! If you are a busy mama of little ones, you have come to the right place!

I’m Melinda!

Here we are all about mothering in the littles years. I know what it is like to have been in stages of motherhood where I struggled with overwhelm and even some depression, all while loving my littles and wanting the best for them.

So I love to encourage other moms in the toughest stages, and share some of the things I have learned that have made things easier for me, and might be a help for you. Of course, I don’t have it all together, and I still have days where I am totally overwhelmed and fail to be the mama my children need, but we can all grow in this journey together!

About Me

I have been happily married to Marcos since 2016, and we are blessed with three little girls and a boy. We live in Costa Rica and enjoy our little home near the foothills of the Poas volcano.

I was born here and have spent most of my life in Costa Rica except for almost eight years in my youth when my family lived in Canada, and about 15 months in my upper teens/lower 20s when I lived in Nicaragua on the Ometepe island, teaching in a small mission school.

I am also the oldest of four siblings, 2 girls and 2 boys. At this time my siblings all live in different countries, but I am blest to have my parents just two hours away.

If you ask me how I get it all done, the truth is that I don’t. My mom is helping with some of the behind-the-scenes blog work, as well as babysitting whenever she gets the chance. I also have wonderful in-laws who help provide a good support system for our busy little family.

My dream has always been to be a mom, and I am so grateful that God has granted me this gift. I love to share with others inspirations for moms, and hope you stick around and learn with me as we go through homeschooling and homemaking with our little ones.
